Stateline Church is proud to announce that they have sponsored over 200 children through Compassion International. These sponsorships provide children with access to education, medical care, and nutritional support, as well as opportunities to learn about Jesus.
The sponsorship program was a joint effort between Stateline Church and Compassion International, a Christian organization dedicated to “releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.” Through this partnership, Stateline was able to make a significant impact in the lives of children in need. Over the last 6 years, Stateline has sponsored 662 children through Compassion, giving hope to children in poverty.
“Compassion International is an amazing organization that is doing incredible work around the world,” said Gregg Giamalva, Lead Pastor at Stateline Church. “We are honored to have been able to partner with them to make a difference in the lives of so many children.”
Partnering with Compassion International is just one way that Stateline Church is working to make a positive impact in their community of Rockford, Illinois and around the world. Stateline is dedicated to connecting people with Jesus and one another and is more than a place; it’s a people in every place living out the Good News of what Jesus has done for us.
“We believe that it is our duty as Christians to help those in need,” said Tyler Johnson, Executive Pastor at Stateline Church. “Sponsoring these children through Compassion International is just one way that we can live out our faith and make a difference in the world.”
Stateline Church encourages others to get involved with Compassion International and to consider sponsoring a child. For only $38 per month, we can make a positive impact in the world and in the lives of children and families living in poverty.
